New Year–New You?


It’s that time of year.  The time when we all make pledges for the New Year–and sometimes the “New You” to come!

But how do you stay motivated after the resolution?

The challenges of shorter days and harsh winter weather can quickly de-motivate us to stay on track.  So make sure you surround yourself with inspiration!  Post reminders where they’ll do the most good for you, even the four walls that surround you at the office.  Make your workspace–your workspace:

  1. Personalize and accessorize by bringing in a race bib or finishers medal from a race in which you participated.  Hang a photo of yourself from a race you completed or of someone that inspires you! 
  2. Socialize by talking to colleagues and sharing accomplishments and goals.  This is also a great way to learn about other races or interesting activities you may have not known about otherwise!
  3. Bring your gym bag to the office and put it in a place that you can see!
